How is God calling you to care for future generations?
"Laudato Si'” is a deeply Franciscan document that is inspired by St. Francis' “Canticle of Creatures” and draws heavily upon St. Bonaventure's theology. The sixth episode of “Hold Back Nothing” unpacks Pope Francis’ vision of the Eucharist in "Laudato Si'" and reflects on how participating in the Eucharist leads us to respond to the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor through care for creation.
Join Br. Jimmy Kernan, currently serving at the Laudato Si’ Center for Integral Ecology at Siena College near Albany, New York, as he shares how his path to advanced studies in molecular engineering was influenced by his experience serving the poor in San Francisco. Br. Jimmy and Br. Tyler Harris will also explore other Franciscan themes, including contemplating God in creation, ongoing conversion and humility. The friars will invite you to see the world as deeply interconnected with the Eucharist at the center reminding us of our connectedness and familial relationship with future generations.
