Peace and all good!

We are Franciscan friars — a fraternity more than 800 years in the making. We serve the poor and marginalized in urban and rural communities all across the United States, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Jamaica.

The foundations of our work

A life of service

We love being a part of your community — working in schools and universities, hospitals, prisons, parishes and more. Our mission is rooted in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, and our purpose is to care for all.
“Where there is hatred, let me sow love.”
— Peace Prayer commonly attributed to St. Francis of Assisi

A spirit of community

We invite you to share your gifts and talents. From mission trips and pilgrimages with us to volunteer opportunities and financial donations, there are many ways you can join us.

A new chapter

In 2023, Franciscan friars from five provinces brought together their gifts to form our new province. With a spirited sense of renewal, we are excited to better serve our communities as a new coast to coast fraternity.
